At TOCO, data protection is important to us. In this privacy policy you will find all information about how we safeguard the privacy of our customers and users of our website. Who is protected by this privacy policy? ▾

Any natural person who leaves personal data with us. Company data are not covered by the GDPR. TOCO is a company that offers services and goods to third parties, such as companies (B2B), and individuals (B2C).

What does 'data processing' mean and who is responsible for it? ▾

The processing of data stores every action that is carried out on and with data. This includes the storage, collection, processing, copying, transmission and deletion of data. What data do we process? ▾

Data that visitors leave behind on our website (name, e-mail, telephone). Analytical data we obtain through cookies and the Google Analytics pixel. Data of our customers.

What do we use this data for? ▾

TOCO collects personal information that is necessary to ensure optimal operation of the site. This information may be used by TOCO for actions or messages of a commercial nature. Analytical data obtained on the websites are automatically anonymized and TOCO cannot use it to identify you personally or to contact you. We use this information to optimise our website if necessary. TOCO also collects information in log files. This information is used for internal purposes, such as traffic and profile analysis, in order to further improve the services offered by the site.

How do we protect your data? ▾

At TOCO, all the data we collect via our websites is stored on the servers of our host, Mink nv. These are not accessible from the outside and are protected by a firewall. They also make a triple backup of this data. These 3 backups are not connected to each other and 2 of them are not stored at Mink, our host, itself. In this way, our data is always accessible to us, but still protected.

The data that TOCO manages itself are the data that we need within our invoicing and delivery system and are protected from the outside by a firewall.

What if the security of your data still fails? ▾

Under the GDPR, Mink nv and TOCO are required to report any problem that occurs with the security of data of natural persons to all parties involved within 72 hours. We then make every effort to solve these problems as quickly as possible and update our security policy to avoid similar problems in the future. Company data are not covered by the GDPR. Because the loss, damage or theft of these data can damage the operation of TOCO, we will also communicate this with our customers if relevant.

Do we sell or transfer your information to third parties? ▾

TOCO undertakes never to disclose your data to third parties without the express consent of the party concerned.

How do you, as a customer, determine which personal data we are allowed to use and how? ▾

Customers of TOCO. as their company have in principle no control over what we do with their company data. However, there is always the possibility to unsubscribe in the case of commercial e-mails. If you have any questions, please contact the responsible GDPR.

What are your rights and how can you exercise them? ▾

If you are a natural person, you have the right at all times to request, view, modify, transfer or delete your personal data. Please contact our responsible person by e-mail. (info@toco.eu)

How long do we keep your personal data? ▾

Personal data of natural persons will be kept for a maximum of 5 years unless these persons give their permission again. We may retain customer data, as these are not covered by the GDPR. We may retain data contained in legal and historical documents for as long as TOCO exists.

What about our websites, cookies and mobile apps?

TOCO uses so-called 'cookies' (small pieces of information that are stored on the user's hard disk) in order to facilitate the use of the website and to obtain anonymous analytical data. On our websites, we may ask you for information in certain cases (e.g. in the contact form). TOCO. has no mobile apps.

Cookies are often treated rather poorly. In most cases they fulfil a clear function. They are small pieces of invisible and hidden text that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone) and have a certain purpose. On our website they only serve to offer you a better surfing experience.
